Westward Ho! Day 27 — Our Last Day in Yellowstone!

Westward Ho! Day 27 — Our Last Day in Yellowstone!

With the rain gone, we had to make our last full day in Yellowstone count! We started with a walk on the strange and amazing hillside overlooking our campground before tackling a couple of trails.

First up was the easy walk to Wraith Falls, but the next hike blew it out of the water! The trek down the Hellroaring Creek trail was steep, but the payoff was an incredible suspension bridge over the roaring river below. We even spotted the black bear again on our way back to "Buzz"!

We saved one of the best for last, visiting Norris Geyser Basin as the sun went down. It was mesmerizing and eerie all at once. The geysers and colorful pools felt otherworldly, and seeing Steamboat, the world’s largest active geyser, was incredible. A wonderfully weird and beautiful way to end our time in this amazing park.
