Westward Ho! Montana Miles & Glacier Majesty! (Day 28)

Westward Ho! Montana Miles & Glacier Majesty! (Day 28)

On the road again! Day 28 started with a wild ride out of Yellowstone—down, down, down steep mountain roads with switchback after switchback. So thankful for Caleb’s steady hands getting "Buzz" through safely!

We stopped in Bozeman for some great coffee and more camper TLC. It seems our flood a while back had a few lingering effects, but the wonderful people at a small, local camper store got us figured out and fixed up in no time. (A great tip: the small, local shops have been so incredibly helpful!).

The rest of the day was a beautiful drive across Montana. We had a little scare almost running out of gas on a long, empty stretch (thank goodness for extra tanks!), but we were rewarded with the most charming dinner spot. We found a free public park in a tiny town of less than 100 people, right by a creek and an old stagecoach stop!

We pulled into our campsite just as the long Montana sunset painted the sky, with the colossal mountains of Glacier National Park peeking through the trees. What a welcome. We are so excited to explore this amazing place.
