Westward Ho! Geysers & RAOK! (Days 22 & 23)

Westward Ho! Geysers & RAOK! (Days 22 & 23)

Said a bittersweet goodbye to the Tetons (after the kids earned their 3rd Junior Ranger badges!) and drove right into Yellowstone—no lines! The magic was instant: waterfalls, steam rising everywhere, and our first bison. Our first real stop? Helping a stranded traveler from France! So glad we could "serve the joy" before the amazing park rangers got her sorted. What a start!

The next day, we tackled the geysers. Biking around the Old Faithful area was the best decision! We saw so many incredible eruptions, many even more spectacular than the main event. Then, a kind gentleman blessed our whole crew with ice cream at the historic Old Faithful Inn! We were completely blown away by his generosity and kindness.

Later, we saw the vibrant Grand Prismatic Spring, then accidentally turned a short walk into a 5-mile hike to the beautiful Fairy Falls!

We ended hungry but so happy. From helping a stranger to being blessed by one, our first days in Yellowstone have been a powerful reminder of the good in people, all set against this wonderfully weird and beautiful landscape.
