I signed up for the tea of the month club years ago, and I love the tea. So many unique flavor combinations and you can tell it’s fresh and hasn’t been sitting on a shelf for months. The sachets also make great gifts. Everyone loves when I give them some! Lastly, the advent calendar is THE BEST! So fun learning about the family, counting down the days to Christmas.
Perfect last minute Christmas gift for out of town family. The kids have recently gotten into tea and tea-themed things (tea themed mysteries, games, etc) and I'm not sure which came first, but perfect opportunity for me to share my favourite tea makers with more folks. I've moved around in several different states (and a country or two!) since my time in Huntsville in 2014, but the quality, consistency, and customer care keep me coming back to P&L.
The loose leaf teas are wonderfully aromatic with new and exciting flavor combinations! Sassyfras Strawberry and Cherry Christmas are the first two that I tried, and I really love them! The customer service that I received when ordering was also above and beyond. Piper & Leaf Tea Company has truly exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this family owned company and their products!

I’ve been getting into hot tea and my sister got me the Sweetie Pie Chai for Christmas. I was so impressed with how flavorful it was that I signed up for the subscription. I got the Chocolate-tea and really enjoyed it. The flavor was perfectly balanced. Didn’t even need any sweetener.

My parents ordered this for a family friend and were hoping to send one pack a month for six months and it sent them all together. I think it needed to be clearer about how it was set up. It was enjoyed though!
I ordered a tea subscription for a family member. It was never received and the shipping information hasn’t updated in several days. I reached out to Piper and Leaf for a resolution but they haven’t responded yet. I will update my review if this gets resolved.
Update: Customer support was quick to address the issue and provide me with shipping updates. Everything worked out in the end and my order was eventually confirmed to have been delivered; albeit was pretty delayed. My aunt was really happy with the tea she received. Thank you Piper Tea and Leaf Co!

My first one with the subscription was excellent. I plan on buying more boxes of the customer favorites box and gift them to friends and family. I will purchase some small Christmas bags to put the tea in. Tea will be a great add on to Christmas gift.
I have asked for no more mint teas. Please send me non mint herbal teas.
Hi Christy, we are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied. This is the first time we have heard about your request. Looking back through your orders I see some notes on previous orders. Unfortunately, when you place notes on your order, it will only populate on that single order and does not appear on our packing slips. I have spoken to our Fulfillment Manager and now that we are aware of your request we will no longer send you mint teas such as our Pipermint Blues.
However, we would like some clarification from you, as most of our herbal teas such as Golden Hour Tonic contain spearmint yet is not considered a minty tea. 6 out of 9 of our herbal teas either contain mint or spearmint in some capacity. Would you prefer us to not send you any tea containing mint of any kind or specifically our Pipermint Blue?

I absolutely love getting different teas to try each month. However, I have had a couple repeats that I don’t care for. We still drink them because we paid for them but I wish there was some way I could have certain teas not given to us and another chosen as it’s replacement.
The tea tastes fresh and great! And I love that they are based in my home state!
