Blend Description

Brashly lacking austerity with its velvety, full-bodied texture and taut finish, the name does it justice. The pain suffered to harvest this delightful tea only accentuates its specialness. Blackberry bushes taunt all suitors to earn the right to taste their deliciousness. Not settling for mere dried-fruit status, the Briar Patch welcomes the usual cast of svelte surrogate tea pals: hibiscus and rosehips along with lemongrass and sage.

“This tea is my favorite P&L tea thus far. So refreshing and fruity. I only drink this one iced. I bought this 1lb bag so I can make sure I always have some brewed concentrate in my refrigerator. I also bought a P&L Tisane Tumbler so I can make it on the go. It really is that good!”

Most delicious tea ever!

I've been looking for a long time for a loose tea that had a kind of fruity flavor. After a three day Vintage shopping trip, I picked up several loose leaf teas to try. The Briar Patch Brew was absolutely perfect. The only thing I don't like is the cost of shipping which is over $15. This could be cut down if the tea came in a bag instead of the glass jar. I can live without the glass jar to pay for more tea.

Excellent Taste

I took advantage of the free shipping option and ordered several loose leaf tea flavors. Shipping was quick, and the teas were packaged well to keep items from breaking. The elderberry tea is delicious. The cherry Christmas tea is very tasty as well. I enjoy a cup of tea every evening and both flavors are excellent. I would order again without hesitation.

Briarpatch Brew - "Berry" Delicious!!

Aside from the lovely color of Briar Patch Brew, which creates a sense of anticipation of drinking this lavender colored brew, the taste is like freshly picked berries. I loved mine with some (plain) simple syrup and a few squirts of blueberry simple syrup; but I am a sweet tea Southern girl! The first quart I made was consumed by myself. . .within several hours. . .I kept coming back and refilling my glass!
