a thicket of elderberries to make piper and leaf herbal tea elderberry elixir for cold fighting in immune boosting benefits

Elderberry Elixir Syrup

It's that time of year again when the cold weather starts, and so do seasonal allergies — boo! It's funny how the holiday season goes hand in hand with colds, and nothing puts a damper on the holiday season like a stuffy nose or a cough that you can't quite get rid of. If you need something that can help kick the sniffles and taste good too, we, at Piper and Leaf, turn to our trusted Elderberry Elixir when we get a hint of the first sign of sickness.

Elderberries and Wellness

While enjoying a cup of Elderberry Elixir is great for appreciating the soothing berry of chai, this tea has many more benefits than just being a therapeutic drink for evening reflections. Elderberries are packed with health benefits, making it the perfect drink to boost your immunity during sniffle season!

Elderberries are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, which make them great for soothing sore throats and those pesky coughs. Not only are elderberries good for easing a cold, but these berries are packed with vitamin C and fiber, making it great for your skin and gut, as well!

Our caffeine- free blend of elderberry, cinnamon, and ginger creates a balanced, spiced berry mix with soothing hibiscus and echinacea, making Elderberry Elixir the perfect combination of tart elderberry and chai spice that we have come to know and love! While we love seeing and serving each smiling face that comes through our doors here at Piper and Leaf, venturing out and about when you’re under the weather can be a daunting task. Luckily, you can learn to brew Elderberry Elixir in the comfort of your own home! Tea, concentrates, and syrups– oh my!
