Brigette had a dream of a darker, full-bodied, caffeine-free option that would wrap you in warmth without the jitters. She kept asking Caleb to come up with something, but he never quite caught the inspiration she was hoping for.
One afternoon, Brigette was looking over the lists of available produce from nearby farms and noticed the sweet potatoes were available from several local farms. With determination and a dash of pregnancy-inspired creativity, she declared,"I need a sweet potato caffeine-free, chai blend!" And so, before the arrival of baby number 5 (our little Jimmy Crockett), Sweetie Pie Chai was born and quickly captured our hearts.
Sweet potatoes are such an important crop in Alabama, and we are excited to be able to showcase its' delicious versatility to the world. It's also probably the secret behind Jimmy's charming looks.
